We just got word that the Mamma Mia! starlet is stripping way down for her role as famed Deep Throat porn star Linda Lovelace in the upcoming biopic Lovelace.

“It’s going to be very risqué,” Patrick Muldoon, a producer at the Lovelace production company Eclectic Pictures, told us at Audi and Martin Katz’s 2012 Pre-Golden Globes party at Cecconi’s in West Hollywood.

But don’t go thinking this is some sort of porn disguised as an indie flick.

“It’s a new thing for her, but it’s not about nudity,” he said. “It’s profound, the performance that she’s giving…She’s doing such an amazing job. We’re about two weeks into filming, and the movie’s going to be incredible.

“Thematically, it’s talking about how abusive the porn industry was to Linda Lovelace,” he said. “Yes, there’s a lot of nudity, but it’s a message movie about respecting women.”

It was recently announced that Demi Moore will be joining the film to play feminist icon Gloria Steinem. Lovelace will also star Peter Sarsgaard, Sharon Stone and James Franco.

We reported last month that Taylor Swift is one of the four finalists for Eponine, along with Scarlett Johansson, Evan Rachel Wood, and Lea Michele. It isn’t known if either Amanda Seyfried or Taylor Swift will accept their offers yet. Anne Hathaway also stars in Les Miserables as Fatine, while Eddie Redmayne plays Marius.

Tom Hooper is directing Les Miserables from a screenplay by William Nicholson, which is adapted from the Victor Hugo novel. The story centers on Jean Valjean, a 19th Century ex-convict who wants a fresh start at life, although he is constantly pursued by Inspector Valvert, who is convinced Valjean is up to no good.

It isn’t known when production will begin on Les Miserables.

Les Miserables comes to theaters in 2013 and stars Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Anne Hathaway, Eddie Redmayne. The film is directed by Tom Hooper.

In Time stars Justin Timberlake, Amanda Seyfried and Cillian Murphy in a futuristic story where time is a commodity and more must be bought before it, and your life, runs out. It debuted at the theatrical box office on October 28 with $12 million, and went on to earn over $127 million at the worldwide box office.

Bonus features are slim for In Time with ‘The Minutes’ featurette, deleted/extended scenes, and access to the In Time game app all that is available on Blu-ray edition. The DVD version is even lighter with only the deleted/extended scenes making an appearance, and that DVD disc will be included with the Blu-ray package. Tech specs for the high definition feature presentation include 1080p video and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio.

In other news Amanda Seyfried/Justin Timberlake upcoming sci-fi thriller ‘In Time’ is being sued by Harlan Ellison to stop release of the film. Ellison claims that the film borrows substantially from his 1965 short story Repent, Harlequin! Said the Ticktockman.

In Time is directed by Andrew Niccol, who previously wrote the screenplay for The Truman Show and directed Gattaca. The film is about a dystopian future in which everyone stops ageing at the age of 25 but has a predefined lifespan which they can then use as currency.

This isn’t the first time that Harlan Ellison has taken legal action to protect his work. In the 1980?s, he claimed that James Cameron’s film The Terminator was partly based on Ellison’s Soldier and Demon With a Glass Hand, which he wrote for the 60?s US TV sci-fi anthology series The Outer Limits. Ellison and the film’s producers settled out of court on that occasion.

The Hollywood legend is slated to get top billing in “The Wedding,” a comedy scheduled for release in 2012 co-starring Diane Keaton and Katherine Heigl, who grew up in New Canaan.

The film’s director Justin Zackham and producer Clay Pecorin both went to Greenwich High School.

Zackham wrote and served as executive producer of “The Bucket List,” the seize-the-day comedic drama pairing Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman.

The filmmaking tandem already obtained authorization to shoot at several other locations in town such as a private home in the Stanwich neighborhood, which is already under way.

The movie crew is seeking an exemption from the town’s midnight-to-6 a.m. filming curfew to shoot a pool scene at the country club, which requires approval from the Board of Selectmen.
