Lindsay Lohan may want to turn to one of her Mean Girls costars for support.
Amanda Seyfried, who played Karen Smith in the 2004 Tina Fey-written comedy, is hopeful Lohan can eventually get it together. “I think it’s just growth,” Seyfried told us of LiLo when we caught up with her at the Mother and Child premiere in L.A. “People can fall out of line and fall back into it. I think it just takes some time.
“Clearly, people go through things and they deal with them differently. You’ve just got to be positive about it.”
Seyfried also filled us in on acting with another freckled redhead—the one she has a sex scene with in the recently released Chloe…
We’re talking about Julianne Moore. Seyfried wouldn’t even let her dad see Chloe because of the risqué role.
Not that she has any regrets about doing it. “When you’re working with someone as classy as Julianne, you can’t really go wrong,” Seyfried said. “Even though some critics may have thought it too much or whatever, I don’t pay attention to that. I had a feeling in my gut when I read it. It was totally cool.”
And it has given the young actress confidence to take more risks. “I feel like it really burst through some walls,” she said. “Intimacy is weird, and if you’re able to do something like that with somebody in those circumstances, I think it makes you feel like you can do anything.”

This is so not fetch!
An upcoming game based on the movie Mean Girls is due out this summer for the Nintendo DS. The cover looks just like the movie’s advertising…except for one rather glaring omission.
The Plastics—Rachel McAdams, Amanda Seyfried and Lacey Chabert—are all accounted for, but that’s it. No Lindsay Lohan.
Yikes! That’s worse than cutting strategic holes in gym clothes!
Per the press release, in the game, players “follow the misadventures of Cady from Jingle Bell Rock to the school prom” and face “jocks, art freaks and mathletes” to become prom queen, so where’s Cady herself?
Lohan’s MIA status from the box art has nothing to do with her real-life misadventures. (Now that’s a game we’d love to play.)
Instead, the game was licensed from Paramount and apparently the use of Lohan’s mug would have been prohibitively expensive.
Besides, the game, due out June 1, doesn’t actually include the likenesses of Lohan or her cohorts.

You’re not on a boat, Amanda Seyfried, you don’t have to worry about keeping your balance. The stunning starlet may be taking on a risque role in the seductive thriller “Chloe,” but when it comes to the carpet, Seyfried always plays it safe with her wide, stiff stance.

Chloe star Amanda Seyfried says she was ‘weird’ at school and nobody wanted to date her.
Seyfried, 24, who is now dating her Mamma Mia co-star Dominic Cooper, admitted that she wasn’t popular with the guys during her high-school days.
Asked if she was popular at school, she told UK’s Look magazine: ‘No, I was mates with the girls who were popular and we’re all still friends today.
‘But I was actually pretty busy during high school – I was working in New York a lot – so I wasn’t popular. And no guys wanted to date me. I was weird!’

Hollywood hunk Channing Tatum has exclusively told MTV News UK that he thinks Dear John co-star Amanda Seyfried has a better voice than Miley Cyrus.
Comparisons between the Mamma Mia star and Cyrus have been made recently, as they are both starring in movies written by Nicholas Sparks.
But Amanda’s co-star Tatum sat down with us here at MTV and told us he doesn’t think the Hannah Montana star, who is rumoured to be quitting music is any competition for Amanda.
With a smile on his face he told us: “I think you could beat Miley…your voice could beat hers.”
Seyfried, who shot to fame whilst starring alongside Lindsay Lohan in Mean Girls, sings one of her own songs in the new movie about a young couple who are torn apart when Channing’s character John has to go to war in Iraq.
Channing, who was in London last night for the gala screening of the film with Seyfried and his Step Up co-star wife Jenna Dewan told us that although Amanda has no plans to start a music career, he thinks that she should.
Tatum said: “I wish we could expect an album from her…She has the voice of an angel”
But in case any of you were wondering Channing claims that he had no plans to get musical himself, unless he gets a call from Joaquin Phoenix asking for a rap duet that is…

Glamorous actress Amanda Seyfried may look like butter wouldn’t melt. But her choice of tattoo tells a different story.
The American actress who shot to fame in the film version of musical Mamma Mia has revealed a surprising choice of inking.
Seen on her left foot at Tuesday’s premiere of new film Dear John, Amanda revealed a tattoo of the word ‘minge’ on her left foot.
The actress revealed her Mamma Mia! co-star Colin Firth was the inspiration for the unusual tattoo.
She told Glamour magazine: ‘…Colin Firth used to say that word on set and Rachel (McDowell) had to explain to me what it meant.
‘So it’s on my foot. It’s to make me laugh, and every time I look at it I do.’
Amanda and best friend Rachel McDowell, who was in Mamma Mia! both have the matching tattoos.
‘I’ve never really been a fan of tattoos but I wanted to see what it felt like. Rachel has a lot of them.’
Seyfried added: ‘I have a dirty sense of humour. I can be blunt and vulgar.’
Despite the tacky tattoo, Amanda, 24, still looked stunning in a glittering LBD as she cosied up to heartthrob and Dear John co-star Channing Tatum at the Kensington Odeon in West London.
The pair star in the movie version of the novel by acclaimed best-selling author Nicholas Sparks.
The low-budget film surprisingly knocked Avatar off top spot in the U.S. box office when it was released in February.

Amanda Seyfried, star of Summit Entertainment’s upcoming “Letters to Juliet,” will be honored at ShoWest as breakthrough female star of the year.
Seyfried, who most recently starred in Sony’s “Dear John,” will be feted Thursday at an awards gala set to close the annual exhibition confab. ShoWest opens Monday at the Bally’s and Paris hotels in Las Vegas.
“The diversity in the characters Seyfried has portrayed and the strength of her performances — from the airhead in ‘Mean Girls’ to the singing dreamer in ‘Mamma Mia!’ — have quickly made her a hot young film actress in recent years,” ShoWest managing director Robert Sunshine said.
“Juliet” will screen Tuesday at ShoWest.
