So, I was watching the movie ‘Surrogates’ the other night and I saw a dress that Maggie (Rosamund Pike) was wearing that looked so familiar and I looked through pictures of Amanda and saw that she wore the same dress in the movie ‘Chloe’ during the bathroom scene with Julianne Moore! It seems like the headband/up ‘do combination is having another moment. In the last week alone, both Jessica Alba and Amanda Seyfried have worn the semi-Lagerfeld inspired style. And it’s easy to see why—the look is chic, uncomplicated, and flattering on everyone. Here’s how to create the style yourself:

Before drying and/or straightening your hair, apply a golfball-sized dollop of volumising mousse, like David Babaii for Wildaid Amplifying Whipped Mousse ($22.50), from root to tip.
