There are three additional clips on their website you can view them here.

Amanda: Who is your favorite on-screen romantic couple of all time? Claire Danes & Leonardo Dicaprio (Romeo and Juliet)

Amanda: Dog or Cat? Dog, I have one that is an Australian Shepherd named Finn.

As if “The Notebook” didn’t already raise women’s romantic expectations high enough, now guys have to deal with “Dear John,” another romance flick based on a Nicholas Sparks novel, which features a more muscular, Abercrombie model-looking heartthrob in the male protagonist role.

Thanks, Hollywood.

Channing Tatum (or “Chan” as he introduced himself to me) plays John Tyree, a soldier who meets Savannah Curtis (Amanda Seyfried) when he jumps off a dock and into water to rescue her purse. The two instantly fall for each other and stay in touch when he’s away on duty by writing letters.

Like any other bitter male, I went into my interview with Tatum and Seyfried at their downtown hotel on Thursday hoping somewhat to find a flaw in Tatum. You know, so I could tell my female friends who swooned over him in the dancy-heavy “Step Up” films that he’s an arrogant jerk, a womanizer or, at the very least, a meathead.

Unfortunately, that plan backfired.

“Chan didn’t get much sleep last night because he’s working on a website devoted to expressing love,” said Seyfried, 24, who knitted a hat while answering questions alongside Tatum. “He’s reaching out to the public to share their love stories.”

Tatum, who married his “Step-Up” co-star, Jenna Dewan, is hoping to get the website, postthelove.com, done before “Dear John” hits theaters Feb. 5.

“You can put up a poem, a youtube video of yourself singing a song or a photo of yourself with ‘I love you’ written on your hand,” said Tatum, 29. “I don’t care what it is. I just want a venue for people to express themselves.”

Co-Star’s Megan Fox and Amanda Seyfried apparently love the same shoes. Megan wore Brian Atwood heels to the press conference of her and Amanda’s movie ‘Jennifer’s Body’ on September 11, 2009. Amanda then wore the same exact heels heading to MuchMusic studio to promote her upcoming film ‘Dear John’ on January 27, 2010. The heels are nearly $500.00 and that is on sale. The original price was almost $700.00! Next we will see Megan wearing Amanda’s Valentino Applique Booties she wore to the Golden Globes after party. Where is my pair? I wear size 8 1/2!

There is more pictures of Amanda from her MuchMusic appearance with Channing Tatum in our gallery.

In the upcoming Dear John, Amanda Seyfried’s heart is in more than the letters she writes to her boyfriend.

The 24-year-old actress, who got our attention in Mean Girls and then went on to star in such diverse fare as Mamma Mia! and Big Love, has added yet another notch to her creative belt: singer-songwriter.

Seyfried’s “Little House,” a wistful love song, will be included on the Dear John soundtrack, but you can hear it for the first time right here!

Directed by Lasse Hallström and based on another tearjerker of a novel by The Notebook author Nicholas Sparks, Dear John revolves around the long-distance relationship—and the few stolen moments together—Seyfried’s character has with her Army soldier boyfriend (Channing Tatum) who opts to reenlist after 9/11.

Wow. Amanda sounds amazing!

Actors Amanda Seyfried and Channing Tatum will be at Macy’s in Union Square Friday evening to promote their upcoming film, Dear John.

The stars will be on hand to meet and greet fans from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Impulse Department on the third floor of Macy’s at 170 O’Farrell Street in San Francisco.

Seyfried (Mamma Mia!, Big Love) and Tatum (Step Up, G.I. Joe) star in author Nicholas Sparks’ (The Notebook) latest screen adaptation, Dear John, focusing on a young girl named Savannah and the boy she meets during her spring break in 2001. John is on leave from his current stint in the military, but the two make the best of the two weeks they have together before he goes back. They continue their love affair via letters to each other, but when tragedy hits the nation, their relationship becomes complicated based on their torn devotion to each other and their respective responsibilities.
