[Translated] After striking first trailer for ‘Les Miserables’ in which Anne Hathaway played the song ‘I Dreamed a Dream’ and left us all with goosebumps, we get some exclusive pictures of the big screen adaptation of the classic musical.
In these images we see all the actors playing one of the main themes of the film, ‘One Day More’.
To adapt the classic, the English director, Oscar winner for ‘The King’s Speech, “Tom Hooper, has a star cast that head Hugh Jackman and Russell Crowe. Faces Jackman as Jean Valjean, a man with outstanding accounts with justice and has spent half his life running. Meanwhile, Crowe gives life to his pursuer, the ruthless policeman Javert.
Alongside these two Hollywood heavyweights, Anne Hathaway, who plays Fantine, and Amanda Seyfried, who plays Cosette, Fantine’s daughter-complete the quartet stars in this blockbuster which will in its distribution with other well-known faces as those of Eddie Redmayne (“My Week With Marilyn ‘), Helena Bonham Carter and Sacha Baron Cohen, the latter two Thenardier interpret marriage.
Written by Victor Hugo 150 years ago, this story of people without joining future to tackle corruption and demand a change, is the basis of the longest running musical on stage remained. Now, ‘Les Miserables’ takes over the big screen through a spectacular and dramatic interpretation directed by Tom Hooper.
