Amanda Seyfried used to feel “extremely ugly”.
The ‘Jennifer’s Body’ actress struggled to accept her looks when she was a teenager and became nervous around other people.
She said: “I was super-outgoing until I was around 10. I got a bit older and started getting shy. Way too shy.
“I felt so extremely ugly. When I look back, I was not ugly – I was cute and had a gap in my teeth. But I wish I could have enjoyed that part of my life and be more confident.”
Although Amanda was reserved when she was in a group, the blonde beauty used to love performing tracks from her favorite musicals when she was alone at home.
The star sang so loudly she terrified her pet cat, who avoided her when she was belting out show tunes.
The 25-year-old actress explained: “Sometimes I would sing around the house for two hours straight, but I didn’t want anyone to hear me up close. I would sing all the Broadway show tunes like ‘Cabaret’.
“Our cat started hating me. He went from being affectionate to being almost scared of me. Our theory was that when I was singing around the house, I hit notes that hurt his little ears. That is what I tell myself anyway!”

The Chicago Suntimes posted their list of “The best feature films of 2010″. ‘Chloe’ made the list, but where is ‘Letter’s To Juliet’ and ‘Dear John’?
“Chloe” Atom Egoyan’s film centers on Julianne Moore and Liam Neeson, as a Toronto married couple, and Amanda Seyfried as the young call girl who enters their lives. The wife, concerned her husband may be cheating, hires the prostitute to “test” him, and listens avidly to the girl’s accounts of her life. Seyfried plays the title character as a powerfully erotic young woman with personal motives that are hidden — from Moore, and from us.
“Chloe” begins as a film involving eroticism, take the form of thriller, and then undergoes a sinister transformation into the story of hidden motives that seem to flow counter to the apparent direction of the story. Egoyan is a master of the psychosexual, and here his sensuous character reproduces the feelings and doubts all three characters inspire.

HBO will be saying goodbye to Big Love in 2011. And when the show signs off for the final time, two stars will be returning for one last episode. The HBO drama has already filmed its finale and it’s going to be shown in March. The first episode of the fifth season, “Winter,” will be airing on January 16th, 2011.
Sarah & Scott Return to the Family
It’s always nice to hear about characters returning one last time before a show ends, and when better than during the series finale? TVGuide is reporting that Amanda Seyfried (Sarah Henrickson) and Aaron Paul (Scott Quittman) will be reprising their roles in the final episode of Big Love. Apparently they were very eager to be part of the farewell for the show despite the fact that they were each busy working on other projects when filming was going on. Mark Olsen, co-creator of the HBO drama, called their return “special,” going on to say “literally and figuratively it was a family getting back together.” The two are so busy otherwise; Seyfried has a list of movies she’s starred in over the past few years, while Paul has been playing Jesse Pinkman on AMC’s acclaimed drama Breaking Bad. Still, it will be nice to see them return once more even though Big Love hasn’t had the best ratings. Do you think it will go out with a bang?

Foo Fighters played a secret show at Paladino’s in Los Angeles on Tuesday night, where they debuted new songs from their upcoming album.
Ryan Phillippe, Amanda Seyfried and Shane West were all in the audience.
The band played favorites like “Times Like These,” “My Hero,” “For All The Cows,” “Generator,” “The Pretender” and “Learn To Fly”, as well as new tracks “Dear Rosemary,” “White Limo,” and “Back and Forth”. Grohl says their new album may be called Back & Forth.
For another new song, tentatively titled “I Should Have Known,” Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic joined the band on stage. Krist appears on the new album playing accordion.
The band is currently mixing the new album with producer Butch Vig at Grohl’s home studio. All of the songs were recorded using analog.
“There’s not an acoustic guitar on the whole record,” a source told Billboard of the album, which Grohl calls the Foos’ “most rocking record” yet. The album is due out in the spring.
